Fault 1 1.1 Fault Symptom The bubble alarm, which is manifested as the infusion pump alarm caused by air in the infusion pipe at the peristaltic pump. 1.2 Fault Analysis The possible causes of the failure are: ① the infusion tube exhaust is not enough before infusion, and there are bubbles on the tube wall; ② After a bottle of liquid input is completed, the replacement of the liquid is not timely, and the air enters the infusion tube; ③The liquid level of Murphy's tube is too low, and the tiny bubbles generated by the rebound of water droplets when the liquid drops into the peristaltic pump of the infusion tube gather and produce large bubbles; ④ The infusion tube is not the special infusion tube specified by the manufacturer. 1.3 Troubleshooting First, check whether there is air in the infusion tube before infusion to minimize the generation of bubbles. When bubble alarm occurs when the liquid level in the infusion tube drops to the bubble sensor, first adjust the flow rate regulator on the infusion set to the infusion speed required by the liquid, so as not to cause changes in the patient's condition when the infusion pump door is opened, then open the infusion pump door, pop out the bubble, and then move the infusion tube up or down a little.In order to avoid the infusion tube squeezed by the peristaltic pump before, and to avoid the tiny bubbles in the liquid congregating at the compressed infusion tube and alarming again. When the infusion tube is venting, the medicine liquid should be injected into 1/2 ~ 1/3 of the Murphy tube. Before the infusion tube is placed on the infusion pump, the distance between the Murphy dropper and the infusion pump should be adjusted, and the Murphy tube is 15 ~ 20 cm away from the infusion pump, so as to reduce the small bubbles generated by the rebound liquid surface when the medicine drops enter the peristaltic pump of the infusion tube and gather, resulting in large bubbles causing alarm [4]. After inspection, it was found that the infusion was not used in the special infusion tube specified by the manufacturer, which caused the bubble alarm. After applying a little water or petroleum jelly in the groove of the ultrasonic sensor, the fault was removed. Try to use the manufacturer's special infusion set during the infusion process to reduce the alarm caused by inappropriate infusion set. 2. Fault 2
