In the after-sales service, we will receive feedback from customers who purchase the monitor that a parameter is not measured or is not displayed, which may be caused by the following reasons:

1 Factors Affecting ECG Measurement Results:

a. Surgical electrical equipment interference: electric knife, electric coagulator, suction device;
b. The interference waveform is not filtered;
c. There is no external ground cable;
d. The ECG electrode sheet is not installed;
e. Use expired or reused disposable electrode pieces;
f. The skin where the electrode is placed is not clean or hairy;
g. Dander leads to poor electrode contact.

2 Factors Affecting RESP Measurement Results:

The movement of the chest and the non-respiratory movement of the body will cause the change of the respiratory impedance value. Because the frequency of the change is the same as the bandwidth of the respiratory amplifier, it is difficult for the monitor to distinguish between the respiratory signal and the motion interference signal.

3 Factors Affecting NIBP Measurement Results:

a. Ensure a good measurement method: Position, cuff size, tightness.
b. Correct measurement method: The arm is at the same height as the right atrium, and the extension is 45 degrees to eliminate external interference. Such as whether the cuff leaks air, whether the catheter is broken.
c. Do not measure blood pressure frequently unless your condition requires it.

4 Factors Affecting SpO2 Measurement Results:

a. The sensor position is not installed in place or there is violent movement, which will affect the extraction of regular pulsation signals.
b. Strong light environment interference to the signal. When the strong light shines on the blood oxygen probe, the light receiver can deviate from the normal range, and the measurement is not accurate.
c. Poor peripheral circulation. Such as shock, low temperature; It will lead to reduced arterial blood flow at the measured site, making the measurement inaccurate or undetectable.
d. The measured area is not rich in capillaries.
e. The skin of the measured part is not clean or hairy.
f. The measurement part is too thin, causing signal saturation, it is recommended to increase the appropriate amount of gauze in the measurement part.

5 Some External Factors that Affect Temperature:

a. The impact of ambient temperature: the best 24-25 degrees, relative humidity 40-50%.
b. Effects of medication: strong sedative drugs, stimulants.
c. The influence of operation during surgery:

Bare skin, alcohol disinfected;
Major chest and abdominal surgery and extensive body cavity exposure;
Intravenous transfusion or massive infusion;
Peritoneal flushing solution temperature is low;
d. Other factors:
Such as their own diseases: sepsis, hyperthyroidism, tetanus, blood transfusion reaction.
