Practical functions include manual/automatic Bolus, Purge for line priming, and KVO (Keep Vein Open) for maintaining venous access. When infusion completes, the pump automatically switches to low-rate KVO to keep the line patent and prevent occlusion; the purge function quickly clears air bubbles from the line — safe and convenient to operate.
